New at CarBrick: discover Nifeliz car building sets
Good news for lovers of special car building kits: CarBrick is expanding its range with Nifeliz!
The first models from this new brand will soon appear in our webshop. We are starting immediately with a varied selection, from Japanese sports cars and exclusive supercars to impressive off-road and military vehicles.
And this is just the beginning.
The first six Nifeliz sets will be available very soon at CarBrick, and if the brand proves as popular as we expect, we will further expand the range in the future.
But what exactly is Nifeliz? And why do we think the brand fits well within CarBrick's assortment?
Getting to know Nifeliz
Nifeliz is a manufacturer that has increasingly focused on elaborate building models for adult and experienced builders in recent years.
The brand's assortment is quite broad. Besides cars, Nifeliz also makes military vehicles, ships, and other display models, for example. For CarBrick, we naturally look mainly at the models that make our hearts beat faster: cars and special vehicles.
Within its car collection, Nifeliz makes both smaller brick-built models and large technical building kits. For its so-called Technique Cars, the brand primarily uses technical parts and supplements these with traditional building bricks where necessary to better shape certain lines and details.
It is precisely this combination that appeals to us.
A building kit should look good after assembly, but with the larger models, we find it at least as enjoyable when there is also something to discover under the bodywork.
And Nifeliz pays a great deal of attention to this.
Technology that goes beyond mere appearance
Anyone browsing through Nifeliz's assortment will quickly notice that many models are not solely designed for display.
The larger technical sets include features such as:
- Working steering
- Suspension
- Moving engine parts
- Gearboxes
- Opening doors and bonnets
- Drivetrains and differentials
- Adjustable parts
This naturally varies per model, but it clearly indicates where Nifeliz aims to go with a large part of its assortment.
A good example of this is the NF10268. Nifeliz has incorporated not only a V12 engine into this model but also a gearbox with paddle shifters and adjustable seats. The model consists of no fewer than 3,374 parts.
With its off-road models, Nifeliz sometimes goes even further.
And that's precisely why we wanted to add the brand to CarBrick.
The first six Nifeliz models at CarBrick
For the introduction, we deliberately did not choose six similar supercars.
We want to immediately show how diverse Nifeliz's assortment can be. Therefore, our first selection consists of sports cars, a modern exclusive GT, two large off-road vehicles, and a true racing legend.
Aston Martin Valour – Nifeliz NF10268
One of the largest models we are starting with is the Nifeliz NF10268, inspired by the Aston Martin Valour.
The color alone makes this a special model. The dark turquoise body gives the car a completely different look than the red, black, and gray supercars you encounter with many building brands.
Moreover, there's a lot of technology under that bodywork.
The NF10268 consists of 3,374 parts and features, among other things, a replica V12 engine, a gearbox with paddle shifters, and adjustable seats.
For the builder who is not only looking for an impressive display model but also enjoys an extensive technical building project, this is immediately one of the most interesting newcomers.
Nissan GT-R R35 – Nifeliz NF10285
A completely different model is the NF10285, inspired by the Nissan GT-R R35.
The R35 hardly needs an introduction among car enthusiasts. Since its introduction, the Japanese sports car has grown into an icon, making it a logical subject for a building model.
Nifeliz approaches this in a more compact way.
The GTRS-35 consists of 1,281 parts and is built to a 1:14 scale. Despite its smaller size, the model features linked steering: when you move the steering wheel, the front wheels turn. Once built, the model is approximately 34 centimeters long.
This makes it an interesting option for those who want to build an elaborate car model but don't immediately have space for a 50 to 60 centimeter long 1:8 car.
Pagani Huayra Roadster BC – Nifeliz NF10318
Lovers of Italian exotics are not forgotten either.
The Nifeliz NF10318 is inspired by the spectacular Pagani Huayra Roadster BC.
The model consists of 1,191 parts and is also built to a 1:14 scale. Nifeliz chose a metallic finished body for this set and various opening parts. The bonnet, doors, and rear can be opened, and the front wheels are also linked to the steering.
Under the tailgate, there is also a detailed engine bay.
A relatively compact model, therefore, but one where you can still discover plenty after building.
Not just sports cars
Perhaps the most enjoyable thing about our initial selection is that we don't limit ourselves to cars that are as low to the ground as possible.
Nifeliz also makes some quite impressive off-road models.
Jeep Wrangler/Willys – Nifeliz NF10324
The NF10324 is a perfect example of this.
With no fewer than 2,899 parts, this is a serious building project. The bonnet, doors, and tailgate can be opened, and the model features working suspension, steering, and a moving four-cylinder engine.
But it gets more interesting.
Nifeliz has also replicated various parts of the real drivetrain. You can shift between high and low gearing, forward, neutral, and reverse, and even switch between two- and four-wheel drive.
That's precisely the kind of mechanical detail that excites us in a large technical building set.
Once built, the model is also over 52 centimeters long.
Oshkosh M-ATV – Nifeliz NF10341
Even more extreme is the Nifeliz NF10341 M-ATV.
This enormous military off-road vehicle consists of 3,489 parts and is built into a model approximately 52.5 centimeters long, 24 centimeters wide, and no less than 34 centimeters high.
Due to its size and olive-green armored body, it looks completely different from almost everything else we normally have among our car building kits.
Technically, there's also a lot to discover. The steering wheel is linked to the front wheels, there's a six-speed gearbox, and the vehicle has high and low gearing. Under the bonnet, there's also a replica inline six-cylinder engine with moving parts. The construction on top of the vehicle can also rotate.
A special model for builders who want something completely different from a supercar.
And a true racing legend: the NF10358
Finally, a model is arriving that will likely immediately resonate with many motorsport enthusiasts.
The Nifeliz NF10358 CLX GTR is inspired by the legendary Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.
The real CLK GTR was developed in the 1990s for the GT1 class and is now one of the most extreme and special Mercedes models ever built.
Nifeliz has created a silver-grey building model of it. According to the information available so far, the NF10358 consists of approximately 1,587 parts. The model also offers various configuration options, allowing the appearance to be customized.
And simply because of the choice of the CLK GTR, we think it's a fantastic addition.
Besides modern hypercars and GT3 cars, at CarBrick, we also want to offer precisely these types of cars: models with a special story from motorsport history.
Why Nifeliz fits at CarBrick
Those who know CarBrick a little by now know that we deliberately try to keep our assortment broad.
We don't just want to offer the cars you already see everywhere. The world of alternative building brands is particularly interesting because manufacturers regularly choose models that larger brands wouldn't readily tackle.
Nifeliz fits well into this.
The brand makes both accessible models of approximately 1,200 parts and technical projects with over 3,000 parts. We see familiar sports cars, but also classics, race cars, and special off-road vehicles.
It's precisely this variety we're looking for.
Nifeliz also visibly pays attention to the development behind its models. On its own website, the brand regularly shares stories about the design process, explaining, for example, how body shapes, suspension, and technical functions are translated into building bricks.
That makes us even more curious about the sets when we get our hands on them.
Coming very soon to CarBrick
Fortunately, you don't have to wait much longer.
The first Nifeliz building sets will be available very soon at CarBrick.
We are starting with:
- NF10268 – inspired by the Aston Martin Valour
- NF10285 – inspired by the Nissan GT-R R35
- NF10318 – inspired by the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC
- NF10324 – inspired by the Jeep Wrangler/Willys
- NF10341 – inspired by the Oshkosh M-ATV
- NF10358 – inspired by the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR
And as far as we're concerned, it won't stop there.
Nifeliz now has a quite extensive offering, and there are still several models that would fit excellently at CarBrick. We will therefore be looking at which sets we can add to the assortment in the coming period.
Conclusion: another new alternative building brand to discover
With Nifeliz, CarBrick gains another interesting alternative building brand.
What particularly appeals to us is the variety. One set is a compact 1:14 sports car that looks great on a shelf, while with another model, you use thousands of parts to build a complete drivetrain, gearbox, and suspension.
Our first six models immediately showcase these differences well.
From the Nissan GT-R and Pagani Huayra to the enormous M-ATV and technically elaborate Willys: there's a considerable amount of variety right from the start.
The first Nifeliz models will be available very soon at CarBrick.
And if it's up to us, this is just the beginning...
